Web Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive Web Developer to manage and maintain our existing corporate and brand websites. This role is a hybrid function, integrating core web development with digital marketing efforts. The Developer will actively support our SEO strategy by conducting keyword research, optimizing web content, and coordinating web hosting and domain subscriptions. Furthermore, the role involves assisting the Digital Marketing team with social media curation and content generation, while continuously analyzing performance using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite. We welcome fresh graduates with a Bachelor's degree in IT or related courses who have familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and Wix, and a minimum of one year of experience in layout and design is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain existing corporate and brand websites
• Support SEO efforts by conducting keyword research, optimizing content, and tracking website performance
• Coordinate, update, and process web hosting subscriptions and web domains
• Assist Digital Marketing team in Facebook brand page curation
• Assist Digital Marketing team in generating content for Facebook brand page
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging digital marketing strategies
• Analyze digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other reporting platforms
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support marketing strategies
• Assist Marketing Team in other tasks/projects

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science or related courses; Fresh graduates are welcome
• Experience in web management and digital marketing strategies
• Minimum 1 year experience in layout and design
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and Shopify
• Knowledgeable in SEO best practices and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools
• Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Knowledgeable with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Proactive and able to solve task related problems
• Able to assess and process situations and given directives
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
