Pre-sales Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, goal-oriented Pre Sales Engineer to serve as the critical technical liaison between the Sales and Marketing teams. This role's primary function is to directly assist the sales team by conducting engaging pre-sales demonstrations and presentations to both clients and dealers. The Pre Sales Engineer will articulate complex technical information to diverse audiences, support the development of all sales-related presentations, and formulate comprehensive technical responses to RFIs and RFPs. Candidates must possess a degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering and should have 2-4 years of relevant experience in the IT Products Distribution industry. A Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification in any track is a significant asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team for pre-sales demonstrations/presentations to client/dealer.
• Present technical information to technical and managerial audiences of different levels.
• Support the design and development of sales demonstrations/presentations.
• Assist the sales team for formulating technical responses to requests for information and requests for proposals.
• Participate in requirements definition meetings with client/dealer and product management.
• Participate in company's wide initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate of Business degree in IT, computer science or Computer engineering or any related field.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent in using Microsoft Office.
• Has the ability to negotiate and understand marketing skills.
• Experience in sales and & presales functions is a plus.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Has the following soft skills; interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills and self-confidence.
• With 2–4 years relevant experience in the same industry (IT Products Distribution)
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE in Routing & Switching, Collaboration, Data Center, Security or Wireless)
